July 24, 2019 Enforcement Committee Meeting Summary
Four members of the Enforcement Committee attended the July 24, 2019 BCDC Enforcement Committee meeting, which was held at SPUR, located at 654 Mission Street, San Francisco. Meeting minutes and an audio recording of the meeting may be accessed from the “Public Meetings” section of BCDC’s website (http://www.bcdc.ca.gov).
At the meeting, the Committee received two briefings, the first on the case backlog and proposed measures to address it, and the second on the standardized fines process (14 CCR 11386). The Committee also received an update on the Union Point Park enforcement action in the City of Oakland.

The next Enforcement Committee meeting will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on August 8, 2019 at the Bay Area Metro Center, 375 Beale Street, San Francisco. At that meeting, the Enforcement Committee will receive two briefings, the first on factors used in determining that a violation has resulted in significant harm to the Bay or public access, and the second on potential elements of a proposed penalty policy.
