  4. Pier 70 Waterfront Site; City and County of San Francisco (Second Pre-Application Review)
    The Design Review Board will conduct its second review by Forest City and the Port of San Francisco for a shoreline open space area at the site of the proposed “Waterfront Site” at Pier 70. The 3-acre shoreline open space area would include shoreline pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists, seating areas, a large lawn, areas for cafes and food vendors, and large-scale public art installations. This is the Board’s second pre-application review of the project, but the first joint review with the Port’s WDAC.

  5. Pier 22.5 Fireboat Station; City and County of San Francisco (First Pre-Application Review)
    The Design Review Board and the WDAC will review a proposal by the San Francisco Fire Department, San Francisco Public Works, and the Port of San Francisco to construct a new fireboat station in the Bay at Piers 22.5 and 24, adjacent to the historic Fire Station 35 on the northeast San Francisco waterfront. The proposed project would include a two-story fireboat station on a steel float, an access ramp and gangway, and a public observation deck. Existing finger piers at the site would be demolished. Each speaker is limited to a maximum of three minutes during the public comment period, and the Chair may set time limits for each speaker at the beginning of a public hearing. BagleyKeene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the BagleyKeene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the BagleyKeene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
