  4. San Francisco Bay Bridge Pier Retention for Public Access Briefing
    The Board will receive a briefing from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) on a possible proposal to retain five marine foundations of the former East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (Piers E2 and E19 through E22) that are currently required to be removed as mitigation for the placement of fill for the new East Span of the Bay Bridge per BCDC Permit No. 2001.008.41. Three of the piers would serve as public access and the other two piers would be preserved for historical and ecological habitat value.

  5. India Basin Open Space and 700 Innes Mixed-Use Development; BUILD, Inc. (Second Pre-Application Review)
    The Design Review Board will review the design by BUILD, Inc. for a proposed mixed-use development and shoreline park at 700 Innes Avenue in the City and County of San Francisco. The approximately 23-acre project site would include residential and commercial development, a school, a public market, grassland and meadow features, a perched public beach, public pathways, a boardwalk, new and enhanced wetland habitat, and other recreational amenities. This is the Board’s second pre-application review of the project.

  6. Mission Rock Mixed-Use Development; Seawall Lot 337 Associates, LLC and the Port of San Francisco (Second Pre-Application Review)
    The Design Review board will review the design by Seawall Lot 337 Associates, LLC and Port of San Francisco for a mixed-use development at Third Street, between Terry Francois Boulevard and Mission Rock Street, in the City and County of San Francisco. The project would include approximately 8 acres of parks and open space, including a redesigned China Basin Park. This is the Board’s second pre-application review of the project. Each speaker is limited to a maximum of three minutes during the public comment period, and the Chair may set time limits for each speaker at the beginning of a public hearing. BagleyKeene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the BagleyKeene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the BagleyKeene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
