  4. Albany Beach Restoration and Public Access Project (First Review)
    The Design Review Board will review the design by the East Bay Regional Parks District, Questa Engineering, and 2M Associates for the Albany Beach Restoration and Public Access Project in the Cities of Albany and Berkeley, adjacent to Golden Gate Fields. The project would enhance the existing beach and dunes and would create approximately 4,765 linear feet of new Bay Trail, overlooks, and a 20-space parking lot.   5. Phase 2 of the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project (First Review)
    The Design Review Board will review the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project, Phase 2 proposed public access at the Alviso-Mountain View and Ravenswood Pond clusters in San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda Counties in the South Bay. The project would create new trails, viewing platforms and interpretive signage and enhance the existing trails. Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the Bagley-Keene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
