May 18, 2017 Commission Meeting Summary

16 members attended the May 18, 2017 BCDC meeting, which was held at the Metro Center Regional Headquarters Building in San Francisco.

After approving the minutes of the May 4, 2017 meeting and reviewing the Administrative Listing, the meeting was adjourned so that Commissioners, staff, and the public could engage in the 8th rising sea level public workshop that focused on potential changes to Commission law, policy, regulations and procedures in the near term while the Commission works toward a regional resilience Plan.

The next Commission meeting will be held at the Metro Center in San Francisco on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Possible agenda items include:
Possible adoption of the Commission's updated Strategic Plan;
Consideration of a graphics contract;
Consideration of a facilitation contract to to assess and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Regulatory Unit; and
A possible briefing on the former Bay Bridge pier implosions.
